THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial-minded Digital Marketing & Inbound Sales Lead to grow our Sales & Marketing Team at Moonstar. In this position, you will play a crucial role in scaling Moonstar by executing on our go-to-market strategy to build a solid clients pipeline and a strong inbound sales channel.
This role sits at the intersection of Marketing and Employee Talent and you will be working closely with the Client Success team to translate our consulting work and impact into marketing collateral to attract and engage with prospective clients, nurturing and advancing them through the sales funnel. Together with our Sales team, you will be in charge of leading our inbound marketing efforts and implementing the go-to-market strategy, increasing Moonstar’s brand awareness and credibility within our space.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Develop a strong working knowledge of Moonstar’s products and services and speak fluently about engagement and retention best practices
- Take ownership in conducting market research, identifying clients’ needs and pain-points, as well language that best speaks to them
- Execute Moonstar’s go-to-market strategy, with a focus on inbound marketing and creating marketing collateral to add value to prospective clients
- Run insightful webinars with Moonstar clients to showcase impact on engagement, training and retention goals
- Build and manage an editorial calendar on relevant channels that attracts a qualified audience to Moonstar’s products and services
- Nurture and grow our subscriber base by providing regular and relevant content to move them through the sales funnel
- Perform competitors analysis to understand best practices, incorporate findings into Moonstar’s strategies and continuously improve our go-to-market efforts
- Keep up to date on our products, business and industry to be an expert in creating engaging and insightful marketing content to educate and attract prospective clients
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 1-2 years hands-on experience in Marketing roles, ideally with a focus on inbound
- A keen understanding of both Marketing, as well as Employee Talent, and excitement to work in this space
- Previous exposure to HR network, learning & development and organizational development
- A professional passionate about the future of engagement at work, eager to help scale an exceptional company and have a real impact in this space
- Native fluency in English, with highly proficient writing and speaking skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Extremely empathetic with a high EQ, while at the same time comfortable to challenge assumptions and priorities directly
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to present clear, articulated recommendations and solutions
- Comfortable working in an environment of rapid growth, constant change and lots of unknowns
- Resilient, with an understanding that building a startup requires flexibility and a profound sense of ownership
- Hustler. If something needs to happen, you’ll make sure to get it done somehow
- Highly autonomous attitude. You don’t expect or like micro-management
IDEALLY:
- Prior role within a B2B SaaS environment and/or HR Tech
- A keen understanding of the challenges retail companies face in the engagement, development and retention of their employees is a plus
